there were times watching Lost that i was scared that the writers might have been just making stuff up as they went along, but in the end it all came together. Masterpiece of art.

I havne't read all 3 pages, I only made it this far down page 1 but felt I had to go ahead and comment even though I'm sure others already have.

You sir, are a complete idiot. There's not really much more that I can say that would encompass all of my feelings, so I'll just leave it at that.

I'll say it again because I believe it.

Lost has the best score of any show ever created. I'm not a big fan of hyperbole and in this case I don't consider it hyperbole.

The score can be as important as main cast members and in this show I believe the score adds as much as a character on the show.

From start to finish. Heck, the finale has my favorite piece of music from the show.

But you do hate something about the show's score, right?

I have noticed a trend, at least in the first 8 episodes, that the only time they play music with lyrics is when they are ending the episode. Not that ground breaking or anything. Just something I happened to notice.

With all the name calling going on this thread is heading into OT territory.

For the OP: Here's a little Evangeline Lilly goodness to lighten things up:

Was an awesome unforgettable ride Lost gave my wife & I over those 6 seasons. My advice, just enjoy the ride and don't go looking for answers or spoilers now. Don't open a bunch of Lost threads, watch Lost teasers, read Lost articles, or do anything that will spoil things for you. Spoiling info with a show like Lost would totally ruin the experience Lost might bring someone.

Lost is & was one of the best character shows ever made, had great scenery too, great plots\twist, and one shouldn't have a predetermined ending in your head about Lost. Stay open minded while watching it. Do all that and you'll have better chance of having good memories of Lost. It was a very enteraining show and that's what TV shows are meant to do. Entertain us, nothing more.....

Boy, wish I could go back and relive Lost for the 1st time again
Enjoy it !!!!!!!

He is right. You really need to be careful in ANY lost thread. There is so much that could be spoiled.

If I were you I would just ride it out and come back and discuss once done.

Maybe come by after an especially good or emotional episode but even that could be dangerous for full potential enjoyment.

If there was one series I could blank my mind and rewatch, this would easily be it.

And I hate when people say EASILY, but in this case it would be.

While I agree it's the greatest score in television history, he sometimes went overboard with it, the worst offender being in Season 6 when he played over a piano solo. But he has far more hits than misses. There are at least 12 classic themes I can think of from the show.

Mine as well, although "There's No Place Like Home" and "Hollywood and Vines" are close. Hell, Ben, Richard, and Jacob's themes were all remarkable as well.
