How does garbage disposal handle fish scales

First time to clean bream in my outdoor kitchen and don't wanna plug up the disposal. Thanks

I wouldn't do it... Some redfish scales got into mine on accident and it ended up smelling the fish for a few days. Just bag that shite and go find a dumpster.
