The Jag is pretty sweet. Realistically, the car I would like to get is a 1959-62 MGA, the predecessor to the MGB. Had an MGB in college I wish I had kept.

Agreed. My absolute favorite, more so than an XK-120 or original E-type, is a "restomod" E...google the Eagle Speedster. It's beautiful.
