From all reports the US has traveled better than everyone else.
I am not sure the rest of the world would be ready for US nfl/college football mentality that would come with consistent international success.

If I had a choice between going to one world cup or going to every super bowl for life I'm taking the cup.

I mean the US is 300+ million people with 85% of those having the capacity to afford an international trip with years of advance notice. I'd expect there to be 25,000 Americans in a country easy to access from the US.

i would say we don't hate soccer just people have a misconception of it.

I think part of the difference is that we don't travel for club teams like the fans from Spain/Germany/England/Italy do.

The haters are gonna be there. The difference is that now there are lovers too, and a lot less people are indifferent. I think the biggest misconception about soccer is that it's not a physical game. i don't believe I've ever seen someone get kicked in the face in football, or run for more than 5 seconds in baseball.

We hosted the 1994 World Cup, and even though there were only 24 teams there, it still has the attendance record.

I want to know how those people from Ghana afforded to go to the World Cup. Seems like they had quite a few people in the crowd

Apparently the government paid for like 500 people to travel over. Not to mention these West African countries have diamond and oil money but it's all concentrated at the top. So there's easily a good number of people that can afford the trip.

You don't think that 85% of our adult population has the ability to obtain $5000 in credit or a combination of cash and credit?

Well to be fair, helmets have something to do with football. They dont have many concussions in soccer.
And baseball, you obviously dont watch baseball to make that statement.

Ghana's fans were amazing. It would have been insane if they had 20k there. Looked like they only has about 2,000 fans but they were raucous. Would love to see the US take our NFL fan mentality to the world. US fans were loud and proud but it was still not near the buzz you see at an NFL playoff or LSU Bama game.

You've never been to a soccer game in the States have you. Better atmosphere than NFL games.

He said NFL Playoff or major CFB game. He's complementing the atmosphere and the potential it has. Quit being defensive all the time
