re: Rand Paul to Hillary: Take Your 'Sad Song' to the American People

Our convention of the MSM is starting Monday. We'll have planks put in our platform on how to get Rand then we'll have a vote.
What's laughable is had Diane Sawyer asked Rand about his wealth, everyone would be attacking her as the "MSM" asking a gotcha unfair question. Since she asked it of Hillary.... Crickets.
The "bias" is not so much in the media but in your own mind. Anyone who thinks differently of you is biased.

that doesn't qualify you for being POTUS
The biggest problem the next potus will face will be the fallout from the clusterfrick the is the AHA, a person who holds a MD and actually knows what the freak happens in medicine will be better than a freaking lawyer.

You can't call someone else out for being a "hack" in the other thread and then come in and completely deflect and attempt to change subjects like this in other threads. It's weak.

What happened to the Right's mantra of "the least qualified ever to be elected president"? The man just got elected US Senator. At least Obama had been a state senator. Isn't it a bit disingenuous to claim Obama was unqualified but then back Rand? And I don't know if you said this, I'm saying generally
First off- he's a Duke-trained physician. Not another lawyer that turned community organizer.
Ooooo- BO was a state senator! Wow. Look how he won that election. Look how he won all of his elections prior to 2008- by totally discrediting and muckracking his opponents.

You mean kinda like how Dems constantly complain about Bush even when B.O. does the SAME exact things?

Maybe but not too much. I think he's gotta come at these scumbags with force. Look how far Romney got with being meek.
Mitt "47%" Romney? He dallied with birtherism and made no effort to expand the base. Rand is trying to rally the base without alienating the new voters he's trying to attract. As long as he attacks the Clintons with facts and humor, and avoids conspiracy theories, he should be okay.

Positioning himself early as Hillary's most vocal opponent is probably smart. He's gonna have to do it without making himself look like an arse with stupid Taliban jokes though.

Ok so what's your point? He was still meek.
He tried to expand his base by being meek and vanilla. Not sure when he dallied in birtherism.
And the 47% quote was spot on. Only morons would get offended at something statistically true.
Feathers should be ruffled.

Nice.
As far as being too early, he can start with comments like this pointing out her disconnect from the people (been in Washington too long) and carefully - very carefully - point out her age by highlighting his relative youth in comparison.
The left defined Romney before he could do it himself and he was never able to catch up. A little something.here.and there that backs up things he has already said will be good. Slamming everything all the time would be bad. I like this one.

When said lawyer has no record of publications despite being president of law review, yes- hairs will be split.
ETA: I like to nitpick in instances like this when someone is known for being a constitutional law professor when he never, in fact, was a professor of constitutional law.

The world will always need physicians. We have too many lawyers.

I would think most people would be more impressed with a successful practicing physician than a community organizer with a Harvard Law Degree. That is my opinion though.
So Rand Paul would have twice as much experience as a U.S. Senator before they officially started campaigning. Paul would also have a much stronger Professional career.

Rand Paul chops at eyeballs. That's not really relevant to government service is it?
