From wikipedia:

Community organizers work with and develop new local leaders, facilitating coalitions and assisting in the development of campaigns.
quote:Whatever the job entails, it can't be any less relevant to government service than eye surgery.
Organized community groups attempt to influence government, corporations and institutions, seek to increase direct representation within decision-making bodies, and foster social reform more generally.

Yeah. You probably also thought Mitt Romney's work experience was irrelevant too.

What happened to the Right's mantra of "the least qualified ever to be elected president"?
That precedent has already been established. Try again

Except when the government decides to run healthcare, who would be better qualified, a Harvard lawyer, or a physician with years of experience managing a medical practice and dealing with the business side of medicine?

All community organizers do is foment and perpetuate dissent.

If you compare professional careers, then Rand Paul is much better than Obama ever was.
Anyways, with the way things are, why would a future vote be hinged on whether someone has a lot of political experience? Seems like to me we have a large amount of problems up there in DC that politicking experience hasn't fixed. Maybe a new dose of real world professional people is what is needed.
But not another "community organizer".

As someone who has a real job I think the community organizer thing is a fricking joke.
