Even if it is the joker, who would you get to play him? I hate to sound like a nolanite, but ledger kinda set the bar pretty high for the dark themed batman universe.

Since Batman is older, it would stand to reason Joker could be an older character as well. What about Daniel Day-Lewis.

That would be incredible. But somehow i doubt DDL is going to sign on for that role, eslecially if its a glorified cameo.
