c) triple Border patrol and institute automatic deportation with proceedings to be held at consulate/embassy of illegal's home country

Would this candidate spark your interest?

Dude would have my vote in a second. All this sounds good, except:
Not every regulation is evil. We could probably cut a ton of regulations but not every one.

Rescinding every single EO would be excessive as well and probably a bad idea.

A stupid waste of money. I posted on this board 5 years ago the easiest and cheapest way to secure the border. Land mines. I have never heard an argument against land mining the border. If someone would like to try it here, I'll respond. It's an historically proven method of securing a border. You only have to make signs showing 'there are land mines here.'

Everything but c is up my alley.

I would to see the IRS abolished with a constituational amendment for a national sales tax with a fixed percentage of 10%.
I would also like someone to suggest CUTTING (actual cuts, not reductions in growth) the federal government across the board by 5% each of his/her four years.
I would like to see the Departments of Energy and Education destroyed. Neither does what it is intended to do.
Do those three things, and I think we can at least begin to talk about recovering as a nation.

What are you going to do about private lands that abut the border? Are you going to seize their land and render it unusable? And what are you going to do when animals set off mines every two minutes? What about metropolitan areas such as San Diego, El Paso, Brownsville, etc., where downtown areas are bisected by the border?

They make landmines that can tell the difference between a human and an animal.

Landmines in those towns doesn't really sound like a bad idea to be honest.

No, because this candidate would change every position once in office.

San Diego is great... Brownsville and El Paso, not so much.

No. The owners will be informed of where the land mines are located. The owners would love the idea since it would stop illegals from entering their territory.

The owners don't have free ranging live stock. If a squirrel sets of a land mine then I'm sure we won't have shortage of squirrels.

They are not bisected by the border. They are in the US. If you are in a section that is not the U.S. then you can step on a land mine. Very simple. Very efficient.
No one will die since there will be signs in Spanish and a lot of pictographs showing people blowing up.
Land mines have proven their effectiveness for securing borders for over 100 years.
Next question??

Zach does not know what GTMO means.

Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Cuba on the left, American territory on the right. PFC GT23 was stationed there in 2001 fending off the commie hoards.
