I'm really suprised a health/fitness board didn't get green lit before a tech board. It just doesn't seem like the tech board would be all that active after it's initial newness phase.

I'm not a big soccer fan, but it needs to stay until after the World Cup.
I need to clean my diet up more so I can shed some fat for the summer. I'm 5'5" (yes I'm a midget) 175 lbs. Do you think I can drop below 160 lbs before August withour losing strength?

Without a doubt.
I'm 6'0" and hover around 180. Idk if you could get sub-160, but could get to 165 no problem.

the workout board sounds good in theory, but it will be worse than the music board
it will eventually just turn into a bunch of posters mocking each others workouts

I think a tech board is warranted as there were related threads on the OT almost daily. I don't think there's nearly enough for an entire "workout/fitness" board. If you start parceling out the OT like that, you're not gonna have one anymore.

Disagree. There's only like 10 regulars on the MB anyway so their incessant "phish or WSP!?!?" debates largely go unnoticed. A WB, if I had to guess, would be a lot of people asking for advice and tips, which isn't really what the MB is for. I mean hell, probably every other day (if not everyday) on here someone asks for some pointers for how to lose weight, burn fat, gain strength, etc. I don't think people would be mocked for trying to better themselves.

yeah, I don't think those people will be mocked, but eventually those threads will start to get tired after being started again and again
