Grilled Burgers and Homemade Baked Beans

last night's dinner was Grilled Burgers and Homemade Baked Beans made from scratch. NOT canned beans! I put these on earlier this afternoon after letting the dried Navy Beans soak overnight last night.
I guess I should call these Cajun Baked Beans since the meat I used was andouille. I did start off with rendereing down about four strips of bacon to saute the onions and bell peppers down with.
The seasonings along with molasses, brown sugar, yellow mustard and a couple of other ingredients including the andouille diced up.
The Navy beans added and the Lodge Dutch Oven placed in the Keg at a temperature about 300*
These beans must have been a little old as they too several hours to cook.
Finally done!
Burgers on the grill. The lump was somewhat low so I tossed in some Jack Daniels charcoal briquettes. It's time to clean the ash from the firebox so no problem with using briquettes to grill the burgers.
Looking geat and time to remove them.
Had a piece of boudin leftover so I put it on the grill to warm and enjoy with the beans and burger.
Super delicious if I may say so!

Looks awesome but next time use some good quality cheese and grate it. No square cheese on burgers.

What's that leaf you got winging out to the left on the burger?

It's romaine lettuce and I deliberately used American cheese in a simple subtle way(my way)of celebrating America on Memorial Day. Yeah, we have cheddar, white cheddar, Swiss, and a couple of others but I used American cheese. It was still pretty damn good!
I'll post up the bean recipe later.

This. In terms of pure "how tasty does this look" metrics, 'Nate wins all the things. It always looks delectable. If it tastes as good as it looks, damn.
