Inquiring minds want to know.

I'd say sportsman...saw a boat for sale on there that looked familiar to the one you were inquiring about what to call it

Craigslist. But I would set up an email just for that. And then delete it after you sell the boat.

Amazing. We listed our house a year ago and still get spam on that account.

I would do LA Sportsman and Craigslist at the same time. More exsposure is better and they are both free right? ( I assume LA Sportsman is)

I would definately list it on CL though as it would be more likely to be seen by people outisde the area covered by LAS through all of the CL earch engines. Never know what someone a state or two over is looking for and willing to drive for.

Bass boat central is another good one, but you have to pay to list it. Not much if I recall though.

I sold mine in the weekly want adds. I have been cruising boat trader pretty hard the last few months. What kind of boat you selling? I am in the market for a 25'+ twin engine offshore rig.

Thanks for the advice. I've plastered it on LAS.com, Bayou Trading Post, numerous Facebook groups and on every Craigslist from Lafayette to Mobile... Hoping for a quick sale.

A couple of yall have asked what I'm selling...

I hate posting it here because admins frown upon it.

It's a 17' Logic/Triumph with a 90 Yamaha 2 Stroke.

Email me if interested and want more info: CDANIEL985@GMAIL.COM

Same question I came in here to ask.

I am trying to get rid of an 18' ski boat.

This is not true. I had my boat on LA sportsman for 2 months. I wasn't going to try hard to sell it until the end up the summer, so I wasn't even bumping it up in the classified pages (la sportsman gets A LOT of ads so you'll be on the 3rd page in an hour). Two months later I had one person ask, then another seriously want it and eventually bought it. And I didn't even have to lower the asking price. Sometimes you just have to wait for the right person to want your boat.

(1) Make a separate gmail account for this sale.
(2) Clean boat in and out
(3) take lots of pictures
(4) Post as many pics of the boat on these websites.

Local Craigslist - good flow of people but will get some crazies.
LaSportsman - good flow of people
Local Newspaper - free online classifieds
Thehulltruth - if the boat has some value, good way to price point if unsure of value

Good luck
