And I don't think she just wants to be divisive to be divisive. I think she believes most of the shite she says.

Aren't political cartoons supposed to have some germ of truth in them to be funny?
Or have they sunk to pure propaganda now?

A man without children making a childrens book is the definition of propaganda.
Especially considering his line of work.

I'm not sure or not if Dr. Seuss had any children.
Either way ... that is one really stupid fricking statement.
Oh ... and I would bet money that the political cartoon guy never read Rush's book.

That makes no sense.
It's funny to see libs so offended at the success of people who have successfully made fun of them for years.

If you go back to the 19th century the political cartoons were viscous but they were witty and thought provoking. Calling someone fat, stupid or mean is not witty.
I haven't seen a political cartoon in a daily in 40 years that I thought even mildly amusing ... left or right.
I do recall one cartoon in a college newspaper. I was visiting the U. of Ky. It was back in the late 70s. They had a 10-12 panel cartoon depicting a political campaign between God and Satan. The office? Ruler of everything. The debate between God and Satan was amazing stuff. I have tried to find it on the internet but cannot.

Yes because a Dr. Seuss book and one from Rush are similar. What a fricking idiot.
I'm not sure but I doubt Dr. Seuss was a partisan hack.

Kinda creepy for Ann to be talking about 14 year old boys and masturbating.
Oh I don't know. I'm fairly sure at one time in her life she was a 14 year old boy that masturbated.

He was a big supporter of FDR.

Coulter is smart, and I enjoy reading her column, but I wish she would not be such a provocateur, even though I realize that is her stock-in-trade. She is stridently anti-immigration reform, and anyone who strays in this regard risks being subject to her wrath. In my opinion, Coulter is someone with serious core convictions who is pretty shameless when it comes to framing her arguments in such a way as to grab maximum attention, especially from the choir to which she preaches.

“Boehner reminds me of a 14-year-old boy whose mother keeps trying to get him to stop masturbating,” Coulter said. “And he just keeps running back to the bedroom. No matter how many times we slap down Boehner, he just keeps running back to the room. You catch him again and he’s, ‘OK, OK I’ll stop. I’ll stop.’ And then he’s running back again. It’s the damnedest thing I’ve ever seen.”
And the wait begins for what Jon Stewart will do with this

I haven't subscribed to a newspaper in over twenty years. But it seems there used to be some sort of relevancy to most cartoons.
Not like this one which is just juvenile in its irrelevance = nothing but viciousness = not funny = not persuasive.

Coulter's choice of analogy speaks volumes about her world view.

Expand please.
Seems a rather tight fisted view to me.
