There's a guy that painstakingly put every scene in order from first to last encompassing the entire lost series. In some areas he had to make the best interpretation he could in the timing.
I have to say here that I watched LOST in it's entirety as it aired. I haven't seen an episode since, until this.
What's interesting about viewing the TV show this way is the entire model for the island is set up and explained in the first 2 to 3 episodes. The island's power. Man in Black, Jacob, and Richard's origins. And then, BAM, thrust into the Dharma initiative in the 70's with young Ben and these new people show up that you don't have any information on except they time travel. This is the regular cast from the flight. You fall in love with them, then BAM, they fix their time situation and you're thrust into the 90's.
And then you have the regular cast as they were all young or finding their way, slowly, but surely on to the island...where their lives will forever change. What's interesting is, pieces of Jacob and time traveling flight passengers are sprinkled in here and there. The story really makes sense this way.
I'd say you guys, if you're looking to rewatch LOST should try doing this. It's a very interesting way to follow LOST when you know the mysteries. Now the mystery is figuring out what comes next in the sequence and seeing how the island manifests dangers throughout each time period.

I've tried to get into it multiple times on netflix and I haven't gotten past the second episode. It may just be me but Matthew Fox's acting and the script were horrible. Anyone else have this problem?

Fox got nominated for two Emmys, so he wasn't that bad. He got better as he went along.

I hated Jack until the last season.

The first 10 episodes are amazing. If you aren't hooked after the pilot then its just not for you. But Fox was a great actor and the script was amazing for the first 2 seasons

Sounds pretty cool but I just finished a rewatch. Maybe I'll do this in a couple of years if/when I rewatch again.

If you didn't like the pilot you're gonna HATE the rest of the show.

I quit after 2 seasons, it just wasn't that interesting to me and some episodes would not move the plot at all which got annoying.
I feel like the show tried to make every single thing so important, that they ended up making nothing important

Not necessarily. I wasn't crazy about it after the pilot. Walkabout + White Rabbit were the episodes that changed my initial feelings on it.

After rewatching the show, I feel the first hook was when they discovered Ethan wasn't on the plane in season one. That's whenthe show really took off. And season two, IMHO was one of the best seasons in all of television. The season two finale was freaking bibically epic.
