Mark Schneller responded by making a rude gesture, prompting the other car to stop. The driver, identified by the Schnellers as Polynice, flashed a badge and said: "I'm with the California Sheriff's Office and I can have you arrested," according to prosecutors.
Polynice has said he carries an honorary police badge from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Marvin "Bad News" Barnes was as dumb as they come. Arrested for assaulting a college teammate with a tire iron,......trespassing, burglary, drug possession and trying to take a gun on a plane WHILE ON PROBATION. He was also busted as part of a gang that tried to rob a bus while still in high school. Now I can tell you as a native Rhode Islander that there a not a lot of black folks there. And the number of black people that are 6'8 you could probably count on one hand. As if Marvin didn't have demographics working against him in an effort to avoid being identified....he decided to wear his letter jacket with his name embroidered on it to commit the robbery.

That's brilliant of Polynice to impersonate police officers because if anybody has questions about it later he can just melt right into the ranks of all the other nameless faceless 7 ft police offers in whatever department and blend tight in!
