I was mowing around my pond today because my 14 year old was going to have a camp out with a couple of buddies. Decided to look under my aluminum boat. Some of the snakes are at the back of the boat in the shadow and didn't show up but there were six of them. I kept thinking of those kids getting at the front of the boat and pushing it into the water and they would have walked right through them.

And that's why you always check under shite laying in your hard. Pirogue, stacked wood, jon boat, gate to trailer, pallets, bricks, whatever you have thrown back there

I almost stepped on this fella that was coiled up under the boat when we flipped it over one morning to go fishing. We planned on going before daylight but luckily I overslept. I never would've seen him if I hadn't.

That's a snake-catcher's dream. My best was 3 watersnakes in 1 grab. Over 30 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday.

What kind of snakes were they? And I agree that you should burn the property to the ground.

Picking up a flipped over boat is always a test in mental toughness.
