I have no interest in Football Schedules. Too far into the future and always changing.

Does anyone else realize between the whining about UF, and cancelling this series, how pussified he is making the program look? This is embarrasing...

Wtf are you talking about? Alleva may not be great but his exact words are we don't have a problem with playing UF. The problem is not playing the other teams in the fricking conference. He also stated that vandy and Ole miss playing every year is not a balanced schedule. He also stated that their big argument for some time about tradition is LSU night games. Slive is supposed to support that and influence the networks any way he can. He is on record saying we have a great chance of having every game at night, especially because CBS has the double header the weekend we play bama. He also said that if we were starting a league from scratch, the current scheduling makes absolutely no since. Everyone of the institutions agrees with that. But the sec is about tradition. Which is complete horse shite. Last time I checked, tamu and mizzou have no tradition in the sec.

Somewhat disappointed in this, but I hope we replace it with a better home and home and not another damn game in Dallas or Atlanta.

I want a game (home, away, or neutral) versus the staff at the SEC HQ. I want to kick their collective arse to the curb and start over with a new staff...in a different city...in a different state.

I bet almost all issues with scheduling, officiating, bias, television problem, etc. would improve.

I hope we're cancelling NC State for something better. If it's being replaced with another neutral site game or weak opponent...I may be done.

It seems like the only tradition LSU will maintain will be to continue being screwed by the SEC.

I'd stay past halftime for that!

It will be a conference game by then, after the SEC goes to 16. Of course, we'll only play them once every 16 years.

Nine game schedule--7 in division, one permanent and one rotating from the other side. Will be more like two conferences with a scheduling agreement (kinda already is). Maybe we can get the other division games to not count in the standings (just have the TRUE division champs play in the SEC CG)

something doesn't seem right here. LSU cancelled but NC State has to pay a penalty? Or did NC State opt to cancel it?

Does anyone really care about nc state?

If we are going to schedule an ACC team, why not go for:

Unc
Vt
Mia
Clem or
Fsu?

Their stadium is quiet as a mouse, but their equestrian and golf teams are really good.

It's like alleva would give us a teaser one day, saying that we just scheduled a big ten team, and we get all excited...........but then a week later revealed that it was northwestern or Purdue.

You should understand by now : NC State as an opponent is NOT a problem....GIVING up another home/home vs. a good opponent IS !
LSU has sold or is selling, most of the recent and future home/home OOC contests, for "money" games at distant pro stadium sites. This drastically effects the quality of home schedules ! An occasional "kick-off/ neutral site game" would be fine...but NOT the majority !

Do you really think we'd back out of a home and home with fsu, ou or michigan?

I understand the whole giving up a series for a neutral site game, but that's not the point........the name nc state is the reason we are ditching this game so easily.....don't schedule them again, and them pay them 100k.
