According to the definition of racism, I just don't see it here

1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.

3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Dems pull the same crap, they're just not called out on it. Could you imagine if a republican vice presidential candidate had called Obama clean and articulate like Biden ?? That would have been as bad as the N word to the networks

The reason is equivocation by the media. When a crazy left0wing lunatic starts spouting off offensive rhetoric, it is often not nationally reported or when it is, it is attributed only to the individual who said the offensive remarks. However, when anyone that can even remotely can be associated with a single "conservative" cause says something that can be construed or misconstrued as in anyway offensive, the entire conservative movement, the GOP, all Southerners, all Christians, and most white people are held responsible, that that single inconsiderate individual is somehow representative of a huge and diverse population. Such equivocation is a media construct, and an effective one at that.

Isn't it a bit odd how the GOP frequently has to distance themselves from these type of nutjobs?

True.

It's cute how all the usual suspects are here defending their newest hero's racism.

A lot of anti-government & Neo-Confederations here so it's not surprising that they have Empathy with this fellow. The Southern Poverty Law Center called this Bundy guy out a week ago

I've heard some of the the same 'slavery wasn't so bad', 'better off due to slavery' & sentiments about the Black community(minorities in general) & dependency on 'free stuff' here.

Unfortunately for Mr Bundy he isn't capable of disguising his feelings or articulating his bigotry in a more subtle manner like more sophisticated Right Wingers.

You're the biggest liar on this forum; even more so than Rex. If George Zimmerman wanted to shoot Trayvon Martin, why didn't he just shoot him? Why in the the hell would he leat Martin practically bash his his brains in before he shot him? That makes no sense whatsoever.

I never accused him of doing a hitjob, I accused of bring a gun to fistfight that he started.

quote:

The truth is, your innocent little Trayvon was a juvenile delinquent who had already been expelled from school 3 times. He was a thief!

Just because he was a typical rebellious teenager who smoked a little weed doesn't mean he deserved to die on a night when he was minding his own business.
quote:

How do you know that jerk wasn't casing a neighborhood where he didn't even live?

How do you know that murderer isn't a degenerate child molester who tried to molest Martin? And what the hell does him living in the neighborhood have to do with anything since he obviously was a frequent visitor to someone who did live there?

quote:

You should just go ahead and join the New Black Panthers, trackfan. Don't worry; they love anti-Semites.

Talk about hypocrisy. Do I need to remind you of some of you greatest hits in bigoted statements?

If we could just relate Bundy's racism, the government land grab with the government gun grab, Obamacare and Global Warming, we could generate the Mother Of All Threads!!!1! MOAT!

Proof?

Because the fact he was a burglar, and the fact he appeared suspicious on the night in question, could imply he wasn't minding his own business. Correct?

"And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy?"

That's a pretty fricking dumb statement. It's not absurd to imagine that people might think this guy's other ideas are dumb as well.

Throw in abortion and you've got:

"One thread to rule them all. One thread to find them. On thread to bring them all and in the PT Board bind them."

Let him crucify himself if he wants, it still doesn't mean that anyone not in favor of BLM's land grab feels the same about every issue as Bundy

How is the Bundy situation a BLM "land grab"?

He's already gotten his beeehind kicked all over the map in court. This was never about Bundy. He's wrong in the law and now we know he's wrong on race.

The Clarke County Controversy was ALWAYS about the BLM, Period. It was always purely, simply about the BLM threatening to geaux Waco/RubyRidge over a bunch of cows.

That would be a great question for Rory Reid. Why don't you ask him?

It doesnt mean anything with regards to the incident at hand, but its just another "conservative" stereotype this idiot is perpetuating.
