Gentlemen, it was a pleasure meeting all of you!

I enjoy doing stuff like that. Thank you all for letting me help and learn along the way, even son-in-law.

Mr. Fish is just as awesome as I thought he would be.

Dyslexic... you were extremely helpful having out there, even if it did seem like you were fixing "issues" for a good while!

Everyone else that was there I really enjoyed meeting you all and learning and making mistakes.

Who knew Da Hammer couldn't Hammer a nail!

Fish and family what great hospitality you all have shown us thanks so much. I suspect phase two is under way sorry I can't make it today.

My kids are VERY bummed out that I don't have a boat to show them today. Good luck guys and if someone has a chance I was so tiered don't have a pic with my bottom on my boat is a picture could be taken and sent or posted my kids would thank you.

Fish was up at 6am planing away on all the boat bottoms. By the time I got out the camper he was practically done with every boat. That electric planer saves MEGA time!

We're currently working on the seats which seems to be another time consuming part since each boat has different angles that need to be cut for each seat.

After this, it's the side/rub rails.

(and for those that couldn't come back this morning, we got yall covered too!)

Smack got off cheap for his pirogue if you count sweat equity.

Hope this rain cell doesn't get y'all. I brought the family to BR for the baseball game today and the tarp is now going on the field.

Fish,

Probably hard to do but could give the method you use to cut the bow stems?

Thanks

I had to leave early today before I could finish my boat. Wifey was starting to get unhappy with me being away for Mother's Day, even though she gave me permission last night to stay today... (Women!)

Anyway, first off, thank you to FishFighter and his wife for opening their home to a bunch of Internet hoodlums. Yall were most kind and generous. I'm sure if I could eat, the food would have been great! It sure smelled good!

Secondly, thank you to Pepperidge for letting me stay in his camper the whole time. Sure made it easy to wake up, step out the door and start working on the boats.

Lastly, thank you to all the guys out there who helped me throughout the weekend. Not being able to lift much and losing my energy fast after having surgery last Monday slowed me down but you guys really pitched in when I fell short. Dyslexia and FishFighter's Son-in-law, Mitchell, were life savers for us all on Saturday.

This weekend was an amazing experience learning a trade that's seldom practiced anymore. I'll be proud to build many more "FishFighter Specials" and pass the knowledge down to my two boys and anyone else who wants to learn. I had a great time!

Here's my pictures from the weekend:

Boats are at 90 % done, and everyone is rolling out . The rest to be completed at home...
