ehh no, Lin was on Batum or Matthews late. Parsons was the primary defender on Lillard.

You're right. I was wrong. They have that same haircut, and I didn't notice. Doesn't discount the fact that the Rockets had no answer without Bev.

You're also wrong about the Batum/Parsons comparison.

Parsons averages more points and shoots a higher % from both 2 and 3. He also turns the ball over less than Batum does, has a higher offensive rating, higher PER, more win shares, etc. etc. etc.

Parsons > Batum

I was referring to the Rockets struggling in the playoffs with their mediocre perimeter defense outside of Beverly. I picked Houston to win this series, but of course, anyone seeing flaws in a team, means they can't state them right?

It's not an I told you so at all. This team is just not balanced inside and out like some of the other Western conference contenders. Their stars are extremely one dimensional, and contenders don't have one dimensional stars.

Miami has LeBron, Wade, and Bosh who are all legit on both sides of the ball.

San Antonio has Duncan, Genobli, and Parker that are either great on one side and average or better on the other, or great all around players.

The Thunder are the same.

Houston, Portland, and teams like Golden State are as much like the Knicks in that they have stars, but their starts are one dimensional players. That's what made Jordan, Hakeem, LeBron, Kobe, Shaq, etc great players and be on great teams. They weren't one dimensional players.

No. The only regret is Lin.

Bosh is legit on both sides of the ball but Dwight isn't?

How are they struggling? It was the first playoff game and it was tight.

Just like the games were with the Blazers during the regular season.

They didn't play their best game, but I wouldn't call that struggling.

Parsons > Batum

Homer glasses [ON]/OFF. You are cherry picking stats that he's BARELY better at and straight lying about some others. Batum has a better TS% by a decent bit more despite those differences you mentioned. Averages many more assists/possession on less usage. Rebounds better. Defends better.

I'm not saying it's a landslide, but Batum is a polished jack of all trades player while Parsons is still more raw. Everyone is running around acting like Parsons is an advantage for Houston when at best they cancel each other out.

Is this where I point out that Parsons makes 10x less than Batum? IDK they are two very comparable players. Obv I will take the guy that plays for my team. Obv you will take Batum because the Rockets have your jimmies rustled.

Actually I'd say Parsons is more polished offensively. Batum is a nice player who relies on his athleticism. Chandler's offensive game is more refined. They are both good but I would give a slight advantage to Parsons.

I didn't know salaries came into the equation here when comparing player matchups in the playoffs. I guess Batum does have more sway with the wallet so chalk that up for another +1 Batum.

I can't believe you dropped the "jimmies rustled" bomb. I'm devastated. You do realize that saying that actually makes you look weaker as a poster right? You pretty much use the "go-to" for any idiot that can't debate the topic at hand.

Chandler also doesn't like punching people in the balls. At least that we know of.

Well when comparing them how about you look at the box scores instead of making up shite like you did earlier in the thread?
