Oh the things you don't know. If/when they legalize marijuana there will be more non smoking forms of consumption out there and that will begin a wave of first time marijuana users.

Last note: it's not even known whether these changes are necessarily bad. The amygdala controls emotional regulation... anxiety, emotional learning and memory.... No shite on the memory, that's been known. The enlarged amygdala could have been present before the study and the resulting anxiety may have been a catalyst for the marijuana use in the first place. This study is not nearly good or thorough enough to make serious claims of negative effects.
