Thanks, but you don't set the rules.

The admins do however, and they've already banned readers for posting in the hodor thread and being a douche like you are. SO keep riding that train if you like I guess, but don't be surprised if you wind up in banland.

Not sure why it;s so hard to just not post in the thread, if you want to help hodors just post in the middle ground thread. I love seeing non-reader responses to the series as much as the next guy, but there is no reason to be a douche in their threads.

I don't see it as me being the douche.

I've never posted in a Hodor thread until today. Some guy posted spoilerish material in the thread. He wasn't a reader but he pulled it off a wiki and posted it. I called him out on it. Someone else noticed that I was posting in the reader thread and then douchebags started pouring it on like I'm revealing parts of the plot.

I'm not ruining anyone's fun because I never posted anything remotely related to the plot. That's the point. You get such a hard on anytime any reader makes a post that you prematurely jizz anger all over the thread before you have clue whats going on.

Why even post in the non-reader thread in the first place? There is a specific thread for readers.

It is a self-policed hard line, and we are asking that you respect it even if you are trying to help. That's why it's frustrating because we can't stop you, and you may be trying to help, but there hard line needs to be there in our mind because if we let you come to our aid, then more will try and ruin it down the line.

We just kindly ask any reader to not post in our thread. Thanks in advance.

Won't it be glorious when the show passes the books and we can all be united as one?

No. The balance of power to spoil would shift to the Hodors and it'd be terrible.

The only reason I did was because someone posted non-show material in the thread

Just let the non-readers deal with it. You know posting in their thread is going to piss them off and start a fight. Just avoid it all together.

And without knowing the context you pointing it out makes it even more of a spoiler. RA and be done

Then "self-police" the guy posting things from a wiki that weren't on the show, not the evil reader who calls him out on it.

for example in season 1 book reader saying oh wait bc Arya has big things coming

I really hate that. IMO that is bad as saying that Ned Stark dies.

How about not participating in the non-reader thread, in any way. It's such an easy solution.

It was an accident and I apologize. A few non readers have accidentally posted in our thread. Sometimes accidents happen .

It is of my opinion that there are definitely undercover readers posing as Hodors. Some theories are too spot on for them to "just notice" it off the initial viewing.

That will always happen. But at least we don't know they know, so that makes it OK.
