Hunter, I tried as well but I don't think that it'll get through, either. Here's what I posted in your behalf:

Shiva, I noticed that you dodged Hunter’s question, so I’ll ask it again. Why does it take snipers to corral cattle? Don’t try the militia excuse because the snipers were there well before the militias showed up. What does the government have against the cattle? Hell, unlike some of our leaders, they can prove that they were born here in the US. :)

From FB
ETA: Never mind. I guess so.

Bundy cattle being released! BLM gone, SWAT teams pulled out. check out Alex Jones live on U Stream. David Knight reporting with LIVE streaming video. BLM told people to get back, they would shoot them. People went anyway and faced them down. BLM backed down and left

So basically the only similarities are the feds being involved. Or do you think the feds should have left David Koresh alone and ignored the child abuse in the compound
This is bull$hit propoganda right there - Child welfare services didn't raid Waco - the ATF did - and why? Because they thought they had too many guns. If the government wanted to build a case against them, they should have followed due process and done so - they were too chicken$hit to serve a warrant by knocking on the door like in a civilized society. But, it was much more exciting and macho to trot out the ATF SWAT team.
And Koresh didn't resist law enforcement when he was brought in on the child abuse charges, which he originally beat - they threw that out to demonize him during the standoff.
Now - I'm in the position of having to defend the actions of a crazy man - but how crazy was he? He kept preaching to his followers that the government was going to bring down an apocalypse around them, and by G-d he turned out to be correct.
(Those people were targeted because there were creepy religious people with guns.)

Koresh was crazy, and created a self-fulfilling prophecy, which the feds were, regrettably, all too willing to oblige. To give credit where due, they learned from their mistakes and handled subsequent standoffs much better and without violence, despite considerable provocation from groups like the Montana Freemen and Republic of Texas Militias, which were both itching for a fight.
That's basically what happened here. The feds have deescalated and will deal with this later when the passions die down.

Koresh knew atf had undercover agents visiting the week before the raid. Even handed them his guns as they went target shooting. This is corroborated in recorded conversations with the fbi when he asked to speak with the undercover agents that he shot with the previous week. Atf invited media for the raid, appropriations for the atf were happening within weeks after the initial raid. I guess thank goodness they learned something from murdering 90 citizens.
Eta- oh...and the two agents fired...were reinstated, with backpayamd expunged records.

That's correct. The BLM probably got a directive from the Sec. of the Interior, who had gotten one from the White House. They didn't want people to die over a cow issue.
Today, though, was not the end of Mr. Bundy's troubles with the BLM.

They made the right move. With Obama/Holder ordering the shooters and blood on the ground (yahoo or no)...this place would go rogue in a manner of weeks. And they know it.
Hell, our Wildlife and Fisheries head man (Barham) told the Feds to take a hike re our Snapper last week. Love that man.
The counter insurgency is growing. The silent majority...are chomin at the bits...to put the Authoritarians back in the bottle.

Trivia: one of the four agents killed was from LA. Lake Charles if I remember correctly.

Nothing wrong with citizens treating their government like and adversarial relationship.

Truth. Especially given that the HEAD MAN goes on National Media and OVERTLY LIES ("you can keep you healthcare/doctor") about the PIVOTAL ISSUE in the campaign.
Obama blew his cred. Nobody but the Bots trust the man. We know what he's up to. Bait and switch. Security...for Freedom. Yeahhh!

The good guys win today. Props to the citizens over there making a stand. I hope more of that happens.... Might be hope after all.

OOOOOOOO...isnt that just a pinch. Bet you are all hot and sweaty in your shite stained underoos? Be honest, you were hoping in that cold black heart of yours there would be bloodshed. You couldnt wait till the feds barged in to take this guy down. I mean why not spend more tax payer dollars on top of the three million spent in this dumbass charade to recover 600K.
Seriously, we dont want to trample upon the rights of the desert tortoise. All for someone who wants his grazing fees paid to the local taxing authority instead of our pristine federal government. I cant imagine why he would have a problem with this considering our federal governments excellent job of money management.
I have said this before, you are truly the lowest form of living matter on Earth. I would not let my dog piss on you if you were on fire. I feel sorry for your mother. What a pain in the arse it must have been to birth and raise such a sac o shite.

Rex's blood lust was palpable. Rex Black Heart was so ready to see dead ranchers who represent everything he could never be-strong-independent-masculine-courageous-respected by their peers. Imagine telling these grizzled old guys fighting for their survival that an effete little lonely wanker in a doggy suit not only wanted them to lose their livelihood and their lives' work, but he was actually pining for their death. Rex Blackheart, truly the biggest shitstain in the history of this board, barely even trying to hide his Stalinist blood thirst.

Government irrigation projects. Government reclamation projects. Price supports. USDA scientists. Rural electrification projects. Even rural mail delivery is subsidized because it's not cost effective out in the boondocks. These guys benefit from every government program you can think of. Whatever else they are, they are not independent. They're trying to have it both ways, sucking off the government teat and not having to abide by any rules, which are pretty minimal-grazing fees are absurdly low.

Yes--- before the Govt made their jobs possible, their forefathers were in Baltimore just waiting for all this infrastructure to be built. And the west was largely vegan. That's why Custer got massacred-dude was famished.
Maybe they should send a portion of their profits to Harry Reid like the Chinese?
Posted on 4/12/14 at 11:55 pm to Lsupimp
Their forefathers got their start by selling beef to the Army, which protected them from the Indians whose land they were stealing. And by using government-subsidized railroads to ship their cattle east. The West has always been a socialist enterprise.
