I'm trying to cut out Cokes and other soft drinks. I've had nothing but water since Sunday evening and damn do I feel it (in a good way).

I also started back on a diet, but nothing too strict, just calorie and fat cut out/back.

Who here has done this caffeine purge?

I'm on nights right now and I slept like a baby today, 8.5 hours uninterrupted.

Update:

5 days now without a soft drink. Since Sunday, I've had a glass of skin milk and one beer last night.

I am sleeping better, feel better, and feel the difference in my clothes.

The headaches from no caffeine are gone.

Your post suggests you haven't eaten since Sunday and only consumed water, but then says you cut out fats.

Are you only drinking water or on a water diet?

Me. I hate coffee now.

If it was as good for me as it smells and tastes, that's all I'd drink.

Nothing but water to drink since before Thanksgiving. Was tough at first, now don't even really want anything different.

It's a good feeling. After a few months, when you do drink a cup of coffee again, it'll have you bouncing off the walls.

I just do coffee in the morning. No more caffeine for the rest of the day. I sleep pretty good.

Drink your coffee black like a real man and it won't be too unhealthy

Currently doing the same. Headaches have been a bitch, but that may have to do with the drastic weather swings here in IL.

I quit drinking cokes and all other soft drinks several years ago, the first few days are rough. Now that shite tastes like drinking syrup or something, it's so sweet I can't even imagine how I ever drank it.
