Losing to Stoney Brooke and going 0-2 in last year's CWS ?

Why'd you stop there? What about the 40+ wins the year before and the championship the year before that?

I am indifferent. I listen to the games when I can. If Maineri is here for another 10 years, it won't affect my state of happiness. I don't have club seats at the Box. If the fanbase is happy then they will vote with their pocketbooks.

Not to mention we were probably one of the 2 best teams last year, but that gets disregarded because we slumped for 2 games, a very small sample size

1 CWS appearance, a super and top 8 seed 2 years ago, a potential regional host this year, yeah, id be satisfied with that

I am too, I think people need to realize that this is no longer the 90s and not football. LSU can't go out there and host do what they did in the 90s now of days, it is to competitive. For CPM I want him to host a regional 80% of the time I may let 60% slide. Make it to Omaha at-least half of the time maybe less, and be in the post season with maybe one exception every single year. CPM is doing very well. LSU had arguably the best team in baseball last year, they just had some bad luck at the wrong time. This year we are a young team with lots of potential. I would be shocked if we see a decline in LSU baseball after this year. CPM is a good coach he is no skip, but come on no-one will ever be able to match up to what Skip did for this baseball team.

It's not like we have guys that are incapable of hitting, they are all just slumping and it's really weird. We have to win 2 in Florida but I doubt that shite will happen.

Forgot where it is, but someone posted like 2 years what all of our expectations were of the program over a 10 year period, was a good post.

Something like,
Postseason 9 years outta 10
Host regional 7 outta 10
Super host 5 outta 10
Cws 4 outta 10

LSU should always host a regional. It's one of the top programs in the country and should be able to pull the talent alone to at least host a regional every year. Super regional is a different story. Much tougher.

Moore yes. Not sure about Foster. He is a 180-200 hitter.

that seems reasonable. so far
3 CWS appearances in 7 years
5 tourney appearances in 7 years (missed 07 his first year and I think 2010 or 2011 I don't exactly remember what year that was)
4 super Reigonal Hosts (2008 2009 2012 2013)
4 regional hosts

so based on your requirements he is spot on and a little above pace in the more difficult categories.

You guys have a top 5 program and a top 15 team this year. Nola is the best pitcher in college baseball this year in my opinion. We stole one tonight in our park. We needed it. You guys are a class act and I wish you nothing but the best the rest of the year. See you in BR for the next game.
