For the Record . . .

The Pelicans are 7-3 for the last ten games. They're at 30-40 for the season with 12 games left. Hell, we may make that 35 game mark I was talking about a couple of weeks ago (a ten game improvement over last year with two of our best guys injured).
When I take into account the injuries, the fact that these guys are still playing hard and the incredible development of AD, this isn't quite the shite show I thought it would be a couple of months ago.
Thanks for listening.

As much as I don't like Monty, and think a coaching upgrade could be worth 5-10 wins next year, gotta give credit where credit is due. He excels in situations like this, motivating players and getting bench guys and border line D-leaguers to fight and compete when nothing but pride is on the line

Especially in 2014.

I haven't had a drink all day. That, my man, might be a bigger surprise than the win over Miami.

a healthy team without the Knee is what I want to see. add a 5, and let's see what the frick happens.

I called 36 wins 2 months ago when they were sitting at 16-24. I think they can get there.

Put the focus on developing Davis. Win 20 more games. Be ready to roll next year when everyone comes back healthy with Davis as a top 5 player. Pray we magically win the lottery as a reward for not tanking.

Having injurymageddon not happen could be worth 10+ wins.

With the way AD is playing, and Tyresus... throw in Jrue and Ryno, this team easily wins 40+ with a healthy roster.

This will probably sound a little strange but did you have drinks before the Miami game at a bar near the arena? I saw you couldn't go to the game and think I may have run into you. Or someone that had your same story about having to go to dinner that you weren't psyched about and had sold the tickets
Just Curious

I was about to say no, but then I realized I had to run by my office in the CBD to pick up something and stopped to say hi to a bartender friend. Were you wearing a Pelicans T and with a girlfriend?

Yea my wife and I got tickets from her job. I had just seen your post earlier in the day and didn't know why but I put two and two together after you left. Awesome

This deserved its own thread! You overheard a conversation at a bar about a guy who sold his tickets, thought it may be Vor, and it actually was?
Too funny!

Lesson learned. I have to be more discreet.

I wasn't eavesdropping. The bartender mentioned something about us going to the game and he mentioned he had gotten rid of his tickets. There were like 4 people in the building

It's obvious we have a very large fan base.
