not all that unreasonable to think he could lead in all 3. he already leads in blocks, that will probably be the case for the majority of the next 10 years. Drummond is an amazing rebounder but I don't see him getting better in that area whereas Davis still gets abused by stronger players like Love/Zbo. scoring, its not like MJ is in the league right now. neither lebron nor kd take a ton of shots. 30ish ppg could lead league in scoring. shaq did it shooting 50% from the line. I don't think its ridiculous to think its possible AD could.

Yes it's relevant bc a poster using his performance yesterday predicted that he could lead the lead in points, blocks, and rebounds. It's relevant because over the course of a whole season he won't be playing against teams who don't give a shite every night. Hell 2 weeks ago he has a game where he scored 8 points 2 games before that he had 6 points. It's no coincidence that he got shut down by teams that have something to play for and most of his big games of late have been vs bottom feeders.

I'll go out on a limb and say he'll never lead the league in points or rebounds.

Yes, it is...no one since Chamberlain has led the league in scoring and rebounding, let alone adding in a third category.

You're wrong about that...Drummond has the potential to be an even better rebounder than he is currently. Jordan, Drummond, Cousins, Love, Noah, Vucevic are all better rebounders. AD is 33rd in rebound rate.

There is a world of difference between 21.4ppg and leading the league in scoring.

I don't think it's ridiculous to celebrate Davis as being a phenomenal player without a bunch of hyperbole as to what his ceiling truly is.

how many minutes did he play in those games? month takes him out for foul trouble. in the last 3 weeks he's scored 26 on wiz, 26 on clips, 32 on suns, 29 on griz, and 36 on Portland. All good teams with something to play for. You are talking out of your arse.

thats just not true
also, in those 2 games your referring to, he played less than 10 minutes in one due to injury, and played only 20 minutes in the other due to 3 quick fouls...

Davis is gonna look great in a Lakers uniform
We don't bow down to the Lakers every whim like some other teams. They virtually demanded Ryan Anderson from us last season and we told them to frick off.

he turned 21 a couple weeks ago and is making outrageous progress by the month. If you think he'll remain a low 20s scorer, I dont know what to tell you. I agree the rebounding is a stretch but he has a lot of strength to add. Fact of the matter is its far from impossible. Shaq's 99-00 season numbers would have led in all 3 last year. Are you that confident that a prime AD can't put up prime Shaq numbers?

in the latest 6 game run only 2 of the opponents will be playing in the postseason, 3 are in all out tank mode, and Denver was the last team. And pointing out 26 pt games does nothing when talking about leading the league in scoring when Durant has scored 25+ for something like 30 games in a row.

pointing out 26 pt games against teams who "have something to play for" does something when you claim he gets "shut down" by said teams

All in the context of leading the league in scoring homie.

Nobody said he was going to league the lead in scoring this year, so I don't see how we were in the context of leading the league in scoring. We were in the context of you saying teams with something to play for shut him down. I pointed out to you that they didn't. Just because he also plays well against bad teams doesn't mean the good ones shut him down so your point about his last 6 games doesn't refute anything.

pts/reb/blk
26/11/2 against clippers
17/16/4 against spurs
24/7/1 against rockets
22/11/2 against spurs
28/14/0 against dallas
21/13/5 against dallas
22/12/2 against heat
27/12/5 against trailblazers
I agree, he has potential to lead in blocks and rebound. points is absurd. Scoring would mean he would have to take 20 shots a game (up from his 15.3) and get around 10 ft shots a game (up from his 6.6 attempts per game) and that would put him at 30ppg with a 55 fg% and 80 ft%. That is not likely to happen. At 30ppg, he'd still be 2nd to durant.

You'd have a better point if you hadn't just recently overreacted to some innocuous comments of respect Davis made about Olajuwan. It's pretty clear you fear the Brow because you know this year is not your year, and Anthony Davis is putting the rest of the league on notice that their windows are closing. You're right to be afraid.

Olajuwon. If you can't spell one of the all time greats name right Idk if I have a reason to read the rest of your post.
