You were calling out the right for the very same thing the left does. You attacked me personally and didn't offer any thing of substance regarding private business owners that are Christians are being punished with government force because they said "no" to making a wedding cake for a gay wedding because of their religious beliefs.

What bad behavior did the Christian business owners display?

Not at all. You are the one that is doing what is the OP.

Oh, so you can lie about the Christians and not provide an actual story but I do, after you accused me of basically fabricating a story.

What was the false accusation I made?

No point in your article does it mention jail.

quote:

BTW, why don't gays go to Muslim bakeries and do this? They are specifically targeting Christian owned businesses. That is an injustice to innocent people. It's what you lefties would call a "form of lynching."

You are a fricking retard. I agree that businesses should not have to serve who they don't want to serve. Can you not read? Or do you just want to assume the worst about someone?

The thread was about the right.

I don't see how that is relevant?

Do you not agree that the religious right/social cons overreach? Or is equivocating all you can do?

Seriously, you do this in every single thread - "Well the gays did this....." Are you providing an excuse for bad behavior by social cons?

Conservatives think Liberals are wrong. Liberals think Conservatives are evil.

I can't remember where I heard that quote from, but I always thought it was interesting (and somewhat true).

You stated I couldn't provide a link because it wasn't happening. I provided one story and there are many others. You assumed there wasn't a story.

1) You are overdramatizing. No one is "blowing loads all over a public steam room" or "cum[ming] all over the floor and walk[ing] away from it."
Is this a play off of Zach's "I told you that gay marriage = slippery slope" thread?

yep, retarded. this is what I said
quote:

sued is not jail, and not a legislative activity. I didn't think you had a link

And you know what you don't have a link saying they will go to jail. I will believe Jail time is happening as soon as you provide evidence that it is.

I have heard about lawsuits, but that isn't jail.

No, it is not. It is about the religious right being a boogeyman blown out of proportion.

I don't agree. I believe they have just as much right to participate in our government. I believe that they should not be told to shut up because you don't like their views. It's not overreach for citizens to participate in their government at all levels yet you only see what you wish. I live in a state that has taken the non-profit status away from various private organizations because "they discriminate against gays." That was done by the left. The right hasn't done such yet as the OP states, they are portrayed as being the boogeyman while the left is portrayed as being "justice"

I didn't claim that you were unhappy. Your posts generally seem to be of an indignant and upset manner. I hope that this mostly limited to TD.

Jail time will come in time for those that refuse to bow. I was ridiculed in the past when I predicted that businesses would be forced to provide services or be heavily fined.

Here's another about a Washington florist.

quote:

Ingersoll and Freed have been together since they met nearly nine years ago. They live a quiet life in a county that last fall voted by a nearly 3-1 ratio against same-sex marriage.

While the men are likely to be witnesses in the state’s case against Arlene’s, they did not complain about the shop’s treatment of them to either the attorney general or the Human Rights Commission. That issue was first raised in news reports.

Freed grew up in the Tri-Cities and has been on the faculty of Columbia Basin College for nearly 20 years, while Ingersoll, who moved to Washington in the 1990s, works as an operations manager for Goodwill in Richland.

The men say they were deeply hurt by the rejection, in part because they believed they had a meaningful relationship with the florist.

On the shop’s Facebook page, Stutzman acknowledges the relationship, but said that when it came to the couple’s planned September wedding, she told Ingersoll: “I could not do it because of my relationship with Jesus Christ.”

In her posting on Facebook, she said, Ingersoll told her he respected her opinion, they gave each other a hug and he left.

“I believe, biblically, that marriage is between a man and a woman,” she wrote on Facebook. “That is my conviction, yours may be different.”

What makes this egregious is the attorney general of the state and the ACLU has brought this suit, not the couple.

how do you OD on pot?

The only time I had way too much is when my dealer gave me a cake made in the pan he makes hash oil in. The wife threw up. I felt like I was zod in superman II.

My pot consumption has gone really low recently, takes me a month to smoke a 16th, and I have sworn off edibles and concentrates.

You smoke about 1500 pounds in 15 minutes. I was being facetious.

I've seen my fair share of overdoses and a few ended lives. Last week an acquaintance died. He had suffered a stroke and was in the hospital since November. Caused by meth.

None of the drugs that I partake in have an LD50 even close to possible consumption. It's not like I shoot up heroin or smoke crack. I get stoned and eat mushrooms, neither of which are particularly dangerous.

ETA: Except alcohol, with which I practice extreme moderation.
