We're trying Tables in Wonderland in January. Much more flexible.

One of, if not the bext value in the world showcase.
A pitcher of Sangria (6 full glasses) is $20. A Mezza Metro pizza feeds 5 adults is $41 and family style all you can eat salad for $7 per person.
Food and drinks for about $20/$25 per person.

No doubt. It paid for itself on our Jan trip and we still have two more planned for this year, PLUS free valet parking.
If you want to go to magic Kingdom, just valet at Bay Lake and walk over...no need to mess with the TTC.

Have you been to California Grill recently? We haven't been since the renovation and were looking to give it a shot again.

Yep, went in January. If it is full when you try to book through Disney, go there on your first night and tell them downstairs you just want to to go to the bar.
Once you sit down at the bar, ask the bartender if he knows of any available reservations that week. They ALWAYS have additional reservations they do not release to Disney. The manager came over and we booked a table of 7 the very next night and ate just before Wishes so we were able to watch the fireworks from the observation deck.
Depending on how many people, they not have lounge chairs and tables in the "waiting area" just off the bar and the full menu is available to you there as well as sitting at the bar.

You don't even have to go as far as disney to see this shite. Just go to Wal marks or rouses. Its disgusting. My favorite part is when they try to cut a corner to close and end up knocking over an end cap.

Appreciate that info.
How's the food? I know the experience is great if you can catch the fireworks.

The wine list went a COMPLETE overhaul. The food is good, not great, but very good.
Of everyone that went, only one got an entree. We ordered a bunch of apps and such and ate family style.
The meatballs, goat cheese ravioli and pork flatbread were all good, but small and I liked the Dragon Roll better than the California Roll.
We do so much snacking throughout the day and I always want to try so many different things, it's hard for me to choose one single entree.
And also, even if you can't get a reservation around wishes...if you have one alot earlier in the day, they will always let you back upstairs that night if you wanted to go back and watch wishes.

Our wait for Anna & Elsa was about 2 hours and 15 minutes, but that was when the characters started meeting at 11 am, not 9 am like now.
There are people making 8 am reservations for Akershus, with no intentions of ever going in the restaurant, just so they can get in the park at 8am and get in line.
yeah I heard that. Like idiots we were in the park early but saw that World Showcase wasn't open until 11 so we knocked out Soarin, Nemo, Spaceship earth, test track and the Ellen snoozfest.
then went to WS, saw the line. Rode the viking ride, then the mexican ride. met Donald, and Mulan then saw someone we knew, who waited three hours. So we just decided it wasn't worth it. Girls were upset, but by this time they had already met most the princesses and seen Merida, Cinderlla, Belle and Ariel in their exhibits. also met Tiana, Rapunzel, Snow White, Aururoa, and Alice so they were happy and had full autograph books.

wow, you are a planner. My So and her mom thought I over planed this trip. But I just had a list of attractions and best parks for the day.
My only real question is as to why Peter Pan seemed to consitently have the longest wait times? Is it about to close? Other than that MK had little crowds. I finally got to do Toy Story as we got fastpasses the last day. Then the rain cleaned up animal kingdom for us, and I just strolled around sipping a mojito.

The ONLY reason we waited is because we didn't have our daughter at the time. It wasn't that bad for us. We were in line with two other couples and we would take turns going to buy beers/drinks and snacks.

Well, yeah.
I was going to try and get out of that, but I can't.
I don't make a rigid plan though. I just use the guides on Easy WDW to plan what parks I will be in. Once I know that, the rest is kind of easy.
I always leave room for flexibility, which is the other reason I like one morning in each park. As you know, with little ones who knows what 4pm will be like. Everything after lunch for us is bonus. If we make night time EMH, okay. IF we make Fantasmic, great. But, we plan the MUST DOs for first thing in the morning and our reservations are usually no later than 6 pm.

I think just because it's such a slow loading attraction. The standby times for PP build up super fast. We had FP+ for that one afternoon, but if we didn't that would be a top priority. We put meeting Merida and Tinkerbell as rope drop priority that day since we couldn't FP+ them.

It's extremely popular and some people have trouble embarking and disembarking so it is slowed often.

just wondering. Also rode Haunted mansion three times and all three times it stopped for a couple of minutes.
I still love that ride though.
I bought a sit and stand for $20 on CL, used it and gave it away the last day. Both girls were too big for it IMO, but it made everything easier when they complained about being tired. I also learned that you could bring in unlimited snacks so we had a cooler of drinks and tons of little snacks on it. Of course we still wound up buying a lot of food and snacks at Disney (the jalapeno stuffed pretzels were good)

Probably from people not realizing that shite is full of cameras and you shouldn't try to get a handy or blow job on it.
They do stop it for that and will tell you to knock it off or pull you off the ride for it. That and loading/unloading handicapped people.

didn't think of that. Though I like the new effect at the end. Getting our heads chopped off was funny. rather than just picking up a passenger.
I also saw they added Figment back into "Journey into imagination" but no dreamfinder. I hadn't rode that ride since the late 90's.
I also really miss the world of motion ride that became test track. I always found it funny as an older kid.
speaking of, this dude probably posts here. Not many LSU jerseys in the 80's.

The food on the meal plan only promotes fatness. We asked if we could substitute a house salad for the desert and they acted like we were asking to see a threesome between Mickey, Donald and Minnie. Each desert probably has 1,000 calories in them. Fatties gonna fat.
