Look at the houses each is parked next to in the op. Your decision should be based on that.

The vette(but not in yellow).
That Ferrari looks like an old Toyota Celica. Would be hard to brag about to people who don't know cars. At least the Vette looks good and will be easy to service.

Just looked up the price of both. You can buy WAY more car than either if these for $73,000.
No way a 06 Z06 is 73k.
I'd take the vette, that's a shite Ferrari with a V12.

You buy a Ferrari made before Enzo died or after Schumacher brought back the F1 manufacturer's championships (and the company's rise because of it).
You buy a Corvette made before the oil crisis or after the C4 model.

...or you make the right decision and buy the purest sports car on the market - a Porsche 911.

From a performance standpoint...the newer Bette is likely near that of the older Ferrari.
From a reliability standpoint...the vette wins.
I wouldn't touch either with a timen foot pole.
There is a certain IRS American muscle car available from around the year 2k....thats 14-15k as a DD. When setup properly, and restored, they command about the same price...but will run circles around both on a track.
I don't like leaf springs...snf I don't like fidgety Italian sports cars.
The AUDI/Lambos....they are getting interesting.
Why wouldn't you get a dead nuts reliable Porsche for the same price for that matter?
If performance and handling is what you're after...neither choice is the best one to make...not with that budget.

Acura NSX - so underrated.
And also slower than a 4 door Hyundai...
Thier handling feel is vastly overrated.

I'd rather a nice 964. Best looking 911 ever produced.

I'm a HUGE Z06 fan. The C6 Z06 is easily my favorite car ever. Given the choice, I'd get the vette. It's newer, cheaper to maintain, and a better performing car. It was widely known as the best bang for buck car ever produced and routinely hung better track times than cars costing more than twice as much. The Z06 is a pure thoroughbred track animal.
Owning a ferrari is a completely different thing. Service would be a nightmare. But, you would have a ferrari. The interior will be exponentially nicer than the vette and it will probably be an easier car to drive.

Corvette parts, maintenance, and insurance is dirt cheap.
Nonsense. Complete nonsense.

I know, right? The Probe looks better than that Ferrari.
I'm actually not dogging Ferrari, I really like some Ferraris, that particular model is quite ugly though.
