They're actually very good live too. They take the same fanatical care with their live sound as they did in the studio and they have excellent musicians touring with them (e.g., Jon Herrington).

Bruce Hornsby. Not afraid to grow his music into different directions. Not a top40 artist but has produced works of various genres. Has played with the Grateful Dead, Bonnie Rait, Don Henley, Leon Russel, and Shawn Colvin to name a few.

An overall great guy.

The Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan is just such a self-righteous douchebag. I've never been able to get past it.

I realize they're talented musicians, but I loathe their music with a passion. Although, I sort of smiled during their RR Hall of Fame set.

this. They have zero emotion in it. Its technically amazing but there is no verve.

They are the opposite of Neil Young who I love. Neil Young isn't technically good, in fact, he is often panned for his singing and guitar playing but boy does he have soul.

Neil Young's brilliance is in his songwriting more than anything. And consistency.

and he has a passion that shines through in his music, I think that is under-rated asset.
