Any good local places to eat?

Along with Cecils, DD's, and Mi Rancho, add Presley's for BBQ.

Sliced beef at Presley's...other than that. Leaving DeRidder is the most fun thing you can do

There's a Sherman Tank in West Park you can bring your kids to play on.

Has any ever noticed the "Trophy" boat in front of Bob's automotive next door to the DQ? It's mine, I dropped it off there 4 years ago to get fixed. About once a year I go by there and ask him about it, he just says he hasn't had time.

Cecil's is the only reason I would ever go to DeRidder.

Go to game. Leave deridder. I seriously hope you aren't planning to stay in a hotel in deridder for some awful reason. If you are, just drive the hour to the casino in LC

Bring a confederate flag and a case of Miller Lite in the throwback cans and you'll fit right in.

and square toed boots.

Eat a tiger burger from Cecil's, then do yourself a favor and go to the Pegasus in Leesville.

CRITICAL INFORMATION: You cannot buy alcohol in DeRidder after midnight. And you can't get alcohol at all on Sunday's.

No, 2:00AM, but they were closed on Sunday. Not no more!

Where Im from - Vermilion Parish - there were never any blue laws. Bars could open till whenever they wanted, on whatever day they wanted.
