6 of 1, half dozen of another. Call it whatever you want, but it all reads like the actions of a 17 year old kid offended you to the core.

I mean...alright I guess. Personally, I'm just not that delicate.

My entire reaction had I been there on your team's side would have been, "Geeze...look at this little a-hole. frick...now we're down 3-0...damn." I'm almost certain that would have been the last time I'd have thought about it...ever.

And you know this how? ANd you continue in the thread....go find a mirror clown...look in it.

You are in the thread, reading the results of his actions, and feel it necessary to jump in other people's business like it is your own. Your issues run deep my friend...In case you haven't realized you have zero control here, so leaving would be better. (oh, the irony)

Kid is my cousin. You guys are just pissed that a bunch of kids from NO came up and beat EHS and did it with swag. None of you would talk this smack to his face

When you come from a civil respectful school system like the 2 involved, you would know that the school and its mission statement and its values and reputation are WAY WAY WAY more important than a kid running out of his way and make gestures to intentionally disrespect not only an opponent, but attending citizens....and doing all of this IN THE NAME OF THE SCHOOL....yes, it deserves all the attention in those communities that it gets.

No...it REALLY does not. An individual kid, at 17, did a silly stupid thing. Hopefully he'll learn from it and grow up and look back on it and be embarrassed. shite...I can certainly look back on some of the asinine things I did while playing ball and regret a few. The outrage is way over the line, though...his actions, as much as you may want to suggest otherwise, just don't warrant this level of reaction.

Could he have done something to warrant this level of outrage? ABSOLUTELY!!! It wouldn't take any of us much time to run a few scenarios out that would have been FAR worse. This...eh, punish his arse internally and move on.

I found out what happened.

The Lusher kid is back in NOLA. He's fired up for Mardi Gras. Gonna get loaded and try and cut some arse.

All the offended parties in BR are stuck in BR.

Don't be dumb. And probably not. NOT because he is a badass of some sort, but because I'm not like him. And your type of thinking shows exactly what type of thoughts his family follows.

But I absolutely would tell him to his face that what he did was wrong and deserves punishment, JUST LIKE THE SCHOOL TOLD HIM YESTERDAY! Who's arse did he kick in that meeting? But yet you say no one would say it to his face....

I personally don't think negatively on a kid who screws up, he'll be fine after this lesson. I would think more negatively of all parties involved if he were NOT punished, since his actions violate their mission statement.

Elleshoe, would you wear your companies name at a public event while working and flip off everyone else there and expect no actions by your superiors...or if you own your own company and a worker of yours did the same at a convention, you would be fine with it?

How does a post in a thread equate to caring? Why the hell was there a 12 page thread about a stupid kid flicking off a crowd. People are such bitches and get their feeling hurt over the dumbest shite .

stop trying. he is representing his school when he puts on the jersey. flicking off the crowd isn't representing his school well at all. he's getting what he deserves

Come on man, the kid styled all over you and the rest of the Episcopal fans and players. Accept it, digest it, shite it out, and move on with your life.

Nevermind, I think I see what your answer would be.

I think you need to tell your cousin's dad to send him to private since we hear how much money he has, charter is a step down.

Yep, and I'm positive that EHS would have done it with CLASS...see the difference?

Did they deserve it?

What were the Episcopal fans doing to warrant such a response from the kid?

he wears the uniform, he represents the school, not just himself.

what he did was unsportsmanlike, he got punished for it after the fact and he can take his swag and sit in his house while his team mates are playing St Louis

Starts 12 page thread on the incident including emailing the Lusher AD to complain. Then follows up with this thread. Don't know why he is so obsessed with this incident. It wasn't like he assaulted someone.

I have never lived in Nola nor do I have a single relative there (thank God). I have no affiliation with EHS or Lusher...

Only thing I have in common is my kids education institution being one similar to the schools involved.

from what i saw it was no worse than any regular student section, the occasional callouts, but nothing out of hand.
