Stats show you folks voted for him at a 66% clip the first time.

My generation followed the Boomers, We haven't done shite to make your life worse. Maybe stop blaming others for your own problems.

Years from now, your kids and grandkids will be pissing on your generation too.

You folks have a chance to step up next election. I don't expect the Libertarian candidate to do any better.

But you were the difference in 2012

This week, young people proved once again that they are a powerful force for political change. For example, 18- to 30-year-olds made up the largest margin of support for President Barack Obama in four key swing states, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, according to data from the Center for Information and Research on Civic Engagement

The true blame rests in the Federal Government and the Congress. Over the years they have spent with each years Social Security receipts, replacing those with IOU's.....

SS became an elaborate tax scheme. It's all been spent and now they have to raise more taxes to fulfill promises or raise the age of access.

I guess all of you right wingers think Romney would have saved us. The system has been completely owned by corporations and bankers for 40 years now. Right vs Left is a dog and pony show put on by the puppeteers behind the scenes. But most Americans still think their "team" is the knight in shining armor. Americans are stupid. Just put some more reality TV and stick your head in the sand. The US, Israeli and American governments are the 3 biggest terrorist regimes on the planet.

And I'm a Gen Xer. All generations have been victimized by these elitist shitheads behind the scenes.

Right on. The left/right slapfight is funny to watch, but the bottom line is our economy is a debt based infinite growth pyramid scheme that is running into some limits, such as lack of cheap energy. Clusterfrick Nation is always good with this stuff.

There has been a lot of stupid shite posted in this thread. I'm not sure where he was coming from with that.

This. Maybe when the retarded Gen-X HR departments will hire us, we can start doing something. The boomers time and time again voted for more sugar, more war, more government until it all came crashing down. The Boomers were always the generation that said "don't trust anyone over 30". They were the generation that smoked it all, drank it all, f&%ked it all, and then f&%ked it all up for everyone else. It didn't matter to them, they got theirs.

They lead the way on the War on Drugs, ruining millions of lives over what they did every day in their 20s.

They coddled their children with PC bullshite parenting turning them all into infantilized, entitled dipshits with no means of coping with failure because they believed that high self esteem was better than pride through earned achievement.

They didn't care that Congress had been spending like Drunken Sailors for generations, they just kept voting them back in so they could keep getting that sweet government sugar. Why not? It's not like it'll run out in my lifetime!?

They don't give a f&%k about anything. They're the generation who have lived hypocrisy. Now, we're supposed to fix everything you broke? Yeah, right. Most of us weren't even old enough to vote for Obama the first time around, but we wanted change in 2012. We wanted change (ahem, Ron Paul) and ya'll gave us Mitt f&%king Romney?!!! What the hell is wrong with ya'll? Pete Townsend had it right when he said "Meet the new boss, the same as the old boss". I don't know if the boomer's are just that dumb from all of the LSD at Woodstock or they really just like watching the world burn and pissing on their grandchildren, but ya'll go out of your way to nominate and elect the worst of the worst to represent you, and then you blame the millennials when forced to choose between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich.

So, sorry, at 22 I have not yet fixed the world. In fact, I'm still "mooching" off my parents while working a job and going to school so I can have a career. It's tough out there in the economy ya'll wrecked, made worse by the fact that you won't retire so the Gen X'ers can steal your jobs and give us a toe-hold into the working world.

Nope, we must just be a bunch of entitled narcissistic pricks who play their music too loud and won't get off your lawn. What happened to ya'll? Don't you remember being the youth in revolt blasting "Helter Skelter", "Won't Get Fooled Again", and "Voodoo Child"? I bet you really "changed things" while stoned off your arse listening to Janis Joplin and the Rollin' Stones. How about giving us a hand up, so we can climb our way out of being boomeranged back home because there's no jobs for us. How about hiring us? How about helping us to become productive citizens so we can get crushed underneath the weight of the taxes and financial burdens your generation thrust upon us. Give me a break. I say, never trust a man over "60".

No baby boomers are not. Parents becoming lazy, selfish, over indulgent and wanting everything for themselves kills economies.

From 1810 until 1910 the birthrate in the United States decreased by FIFTY PERCENT.

Don't blame it on the baby boomers, their parents or grandparents. Go back 200 years and blame it on capitalism.

Bro. You're shooting yourself in the foot here. If any group goes one way or another by that large of a margin, they are responsible.

These things are generally pretty close. If you little punks would have kept your head in your asses and stayed home Obama would be a senator. For fricks sake.... The least you could hav done was put Hillary up.

Oh and frick you boomers. Y'all have been asleep at the wheel and let those pricks stick us with the bill. This ssi thing is a dumpster fire because you dumbasses voted for dicks rather than doing a little research. fricking pricks.

OT balling Xers trying to put this shite pot back together.

Millenials were only 10% of the voters in the election (age group of 18-24, 24-29 was another 8%, but they're too old to be called millenials and they voted for Obama with the same frequency). Two thirds voted for Obama. Obama won the election by over 7 percent. Even if EVERY SINGLE MILLENIAL THAT VOTED HAD VOTED FOR MCCAIN, HE STILL WOULD HAVE LOST!!!!

As a Gen Xer, I say BRAVO! to all of this.

The Boomers won't GTFO of the work place and that leaves us Gen Xer's stuck in middle management and lower level jobs for way too long with no chance to advance, thus leaving y'all with no jobs at all.

The Boomers say "We can't retire, our savings aren't enough and our 401Ks got gutted in the recession".

Well, suck it up - that shite was YOUR fault.

Go retire and become a WalMart greeter and go ahead a bankrupt Social Security already so the rest of us can get a head start on cleaning up after you.

Thank the lord I work in the senior living industry - these entitled Boomers will keep my industry thriving for many years to come. And by the time they die and the demand craters, it'll be my turn to retire.

But I'm smart - long term care insurance FTW.
