As far as top 2015 recruits go

I see already a few topics on 2015 and we already have as many 5* as this year and last year. Just looked through 2015 5* on rivals and LSU has offered several. Have any showed interest and how many 5* you think there's a chance at? I'm thinking at least 1 more 5* pickup but I don't know much about these kids.

Ditto if a kid can play big time college football stars shouldn't matter

For people that don't spend their lives, or any time at all for that matter, watching teenagers play football it is a cool guide. The assignment of stars makes recruiting more interesting for people like myself. Does it always pan out? Of course not. There will always be a 5 star Chris davenport and a 2 star Jacob Hester. I think that is pretty well understood by everyone. However, I see nothing wrong with the OP's question.

true there are some real head scratchers too, Like RR was a 3* i think. it makes no sense.

This and everyone star gazes. We wouldn't know shite about out of state players if it wasn't for a ranking system.
