How often do you change the oil in your vehicle

Having a disagreement with SO (pics to come) and the owners manual of her vehicle says 7,500k however where she had her oil changed last time told her 3k and put the sticker at 3k.
Right now she is 500 miles over their recommended change and freaking out about ruining her vehicle.
I usually go about 10k between mine
She has a 2012, I have a 2013

I go 8-10K
My vehicle manual recommends once a year or every 19K miles, whichever comes first

I go 6,000, but I'm sure I could stretch it a little further. My car's also a 2006, so 6,000 is what I've always done.

My car has Maintenance Minder and is supposed to let me know when it needs the oil changed. It drives my husband crazy because he does all our routine maintenance and he can't get numbers from the owners manual or service department. I keep getting calls from one of the Honda dealers telling me my car is due for maintenance and when I tell them it has less than 3000 miles on it, they say never mind. So those folks do have mileage figures in mind, they just won't tell us.

Depends entirely on car, oil, and usage.
A new direct injected motor...ID feel iffy at 5k because of fuel dilution.
A regular fuel injected motor in good repair? 5k on conventional. 10k plus on a good synthetic.
Carbed motor...3k.
Car that only sees short trips...4-5k.
Car that sees only highway or roadtrips...ill run 10k on a good conventional.
I'm an oil nerd.
I order special Denso filters, special crush washers, and have over 60 gallons of oil stashed in the shop.
What's the vehicle, condition, and mileage?

She lacks respect for you.
Get that straightened out ASAP.
Tell her the engine manufacturers and the car makers that provide the warranty know a good bit more about oil change intervals than the minimimum wage technicians at Jiify Lube.
Always follow the manufacturers guidelines.
