This sounds like someone who can't read or is pissed because they overpaid or don't have friends.

I know, baller, blah blah blah.

I'm sure there is other stupidity my mind just can't approximate. Pretend I made fun of that, too.

Oh, sorry, pregnant 14 year old.

We opted for a very nice small family wedding(30 people). Probably cost my father about $3k in 1993. He gave us a check for $12k, since he figured he would have spent that on a more traditional one. He also gave my sister the same offer, but she chose the wedding.

Wow, good job.

Ask the person who reads to you to come up with something better.

He said if screen names were based on IQ, yours would be gratuitous.

Went to a wedding not too long ago with ~300-400 people. It was chaotic and extremely, extremely expensive. Whenever I get married, it will definitely be a smaller wedding. Close friends and family only.

Yeah. Way too look so awesome in a yhread about how to throw a good wedding and not go into debt.

Free stuff = stupid

Avoiding the unnecessary = trashy

Have fun paying those wedding and divorce bills!

Spent about $5K, for everything that includes the gifts for the groomsmen, bridesmaids, my wife's dress, photographer, food, venue, and the honeymoon.

Well, most places have one set price that includes everything. For example, our venue has a price that includes open bar, all the food, and the "rental" fee for the room. That is the event that most people think of when they think of "reception."

People don't tell you that a decent band in NOLA runs you around $5,000, flowers start out at $5,000, and photography at $4,000. I would consider that a lot of money for a few peonies and tunes.
