Me too. At work I'm on the phone 80% of the time and when I get free time the last thing I feel like doing is talking on the phone anymore.. but I think talking on the phone brings it to a personal level that texting can't recreate.

I found some disgusting subreddits yesterday via the thread "What's the most horrible subreddit on here?"
I also found a great one where it's just videos of people popping cysts/pimples, cleaning their ears, using biore nose strips, etc.

Call whenever you have the means to move forward (got something planned out for y'all to do, face to face)
If you're good to go, it won't really matter what you have to say, or when you do take the initiative. Too often we find ourself in a stand-off in the early stages.
If she's not receptive to your plans, then so be it. Cut straight to it, and hope she cuts straight to it to let you know whether it's a lost cause or not.
ETA: the less fricks you give, the more you get
