are the conservatives/Christians the new jew?

In my life, I have never seen so much hate towards conservatives nor Christians. Most of the media is anti conservative and Christian. The government, under this administration has targeted conservatives and christians using different agencies. Anti Obama film maker was investigated and then arrested. Christian organizations now listed as hate groups.
Are we now what the Jews were to the nazis? Are we getting close to that?

Anti-Christian sentiment is the only true "safe" cultural bigotry left in America. But this has been the case for at least 30 years.

I don't view Christians as the new jews but Christians are one of the few groups who can be openly mocked without creating much outrage.

By the way-to compare cultural bigotry and cultural bullying-to what The Nazis did to The Jews is WAY off base, a gargantuan over-statement, and unintentionally minimizes the horror of The Holocaust. I think we all know this, right?

When the most powerful man in New York openly states that conservatives, people who are pro-life and pro 2nd Amendment, are not welcome in his state, don't we already know the answer?
I wouldn't say conservatives are the new Jews, though, because at least anti-Semitism is officially frowned upon. Meanwhile, it's open season on conservatives.
