Outside of the ganja...what is a must do or see?
First week of June is my time there. Will have to be at work convention for the latter part of the week but willing to start the trip off somewhere else close by if there is something cool to do.

Go eat at a restaurant called Linger.
One of my favorite places to eat in the country.

White water rafting is big in Colorado in the summer. Oh yeah, and smoke pot. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

Drive to Boulder and through the mountains. Stop off and hike at random spots.

Take 119 West out of Boulder towards Nederland. The road goes through a gorge into the mountains . Lots of trails to stop and check out. Snow on the ground in spots once you get in the mountains. Nederland has a decent brew and BBQ joint.
Another option is to brewery hop. The Denver area is like the Napa Valley of beer.

Eat at Beau Jo's pizza. And check out some breweries. Go to Tommy Knocker's in Idaho Springs.

He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below,
he saw everything as far as you can see.
And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun,
and he lost a friend, but kept the memory.
Now he walks in quiet solitude, the forest and the streams, seeking grace in every step he takes.
His sight is turned inside himself, to try and understand
the serenity of a clear blue mountain lake.

Day trip to Estes Park(through Boulder) and make your way back around through RedRocks Theater. Time it for a night concert.

Like most everyone else has said, enjoy the outdoors.
Boulder with the Flatirons (and the Mork & Mindy House). Take the drive up Flagstaff mountain for some gorgeous views of the city. Also, in Boulder, check out the Pearl Street Mall. Very interesting collection of folks there.
Towards Golden is Lookout Mountain - more gorgeous views, and it is also the final resting place of Buffalo Bill.
Rocky Mountain NP is a must see. We drove into Estes Park through Big Thompson Canyon. An absolutely gorgeous introduction to the area.

Stay the night at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. Reenact scenes from the Shining. Ask for room 401.
The Stanley
Eat at the Atomic Cowboy. It has the Denver Biscuit Company and Fat Sully's Pizza/Bar in the same building.
