Sounds like beer flow getting low and boys can't oogle over the women cause the politicians are grandstanding. Typical cca event.

We have to have better speakers than that dude up front. I would do so, but it is a full time job to learn how to intelligently talk about the bullshite that is NOAA and the Gulf Council. The complicated scheme is astounding. I'm trying to educate myself as much as possible, but without dedicating 7-8 hours a week to understanding this BS government scheme, I don't feel comfortable speaking beyond asking a question or two.

GC is comprised of "fishermen", both recreational and commercial.
GC recommends to NOAA what to do re: limits and stocks
NOAA can follow recommendation or do whatever it wants
GC is basically worthless
CCA Members and attendees asked questions and commented on what we would like to see done through the worthless GC
We commented on Sector Separation, headboat unfairness, Data collection around rigs as opposed to natural habitat, Splitting the gulf into east/west zones, following the money, etc.
We are up against a bunch of BS. I'm hopeful we can cut through all of this, but the libs and special interests are winning.
