I absolutely hate that what was once an accessory of business and power, the 4th piece of a 3 piece suit, has now been stolen by hipsters and douchbags. Thanks JFK.

Honestly, some people can pull them off, but most can't.

I don't care what you wear though.

I think it depends on the person.

Some guys look smoking hot in a fedora. Some look like giant tool bags.

It could really go either way.

Move to DC (aka the gayest city in the US) and you'll fit in.

I'm 46 years old, not fat, no Cary Grant, but not ugly either. I shave my head, so in the winter time I wear a stingy brim fedora to work. I wear a suit, or at least dress shirt and khakis and peacoat to work. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a fedora with shorts and a t shirt.

frick the haters.

Most of the pics in here are Trilbys, btw. Fedoras have a wider brim. I don't wear either, just pointing it out.

The only person on the face of the Earth who should wear one is Bill Cosby.

People that do this don't make sense to me. They are made of nice fabric, and don't fit well with most casual outfits.

I don't wear them, but I could see how they would look nice with a suit in the winter.

Unfortunately their popularity with hipsters has probably prevented them from from making a strong comeback in the general population.
