I learned one thing from #5for5
I'm not listening to the "insiders" anymore, I don't care if it's positive or negative, I'll just wait till the kid commits to get excited or disappointed

I really don't expect him to come to LSU at this point honestly. He may very well come here, but I'm not going to be disappointed.
Yep, I won't be turned inside out by another episode like last week. I went off of the deep end for a while.
I refuse to let recruiting have that kind of power in my life.

I hope a lot of us learned that lesson.

Well FSU 's head strength coach is a John Curtis alum.

dropped all my services too. I'm as good at predicting with my sources as they are. I'll wait till they commit. If we get nacho idc where chi goes. I'm done with these kids playing us, the home state. If you got an offer, be happy and say yes or no. Don't troll the home state!

Or just wait until those letters of intent are submitted

He has said in interviews LSU should worry about FSU. But tonight's loss will help LSU. I think he stays but I don't know and neither does anyone else, not even Dupre.
So, Auburn losing makes LSU the favorite now?????

Heard Dupre is LSU all the way
We heard that about a few recruits. I just don't know how anyone can say something like this with confidence.
Who here wasn't extremely worried when LF was digging in that bag for his hat, right before he announced. If you say you weren't worried you're lying.

You mean hunter dale? Florida is all over him.
Kid is going to Florida if Muschamp is still there. Mike Dettillier(sp?) said last Friday that he is pretty sure thats why GW chose Florida. Said him and Dale are extremely good friends and work out everyday together at Sonic Boom. TFWIW

Best ace in the whole vs FSU.........ESPN SEC NETWORK. Exposure like never before.

LSU the favorite
Congrats on the win. Unless I missed something, LSU has always been the favorite for Dupre.

And I worked out under Moffitt, graduated with Cochran, and played baseball with Viloria, but I still don't know what the hell Chi is gonna do, lol. I've been a part of the Curtis "family" for 31 years now and I can't even say what's up.

This. Only way Hunter Dale comes to LSU is if Muschamp is out of football. If he gets fired at Florida but latches on as a DC somewhere, Hunter probably follows

Who knows? I stopped putting stock into anything anyone says, even the player himself. No one knows until the paper is signed...

I really only got worried when he said "University of" but the pause and grin made that concern go away. When players smiled, they picked LSU.

Again, FSU is currently offering a lot of exposure, soup du jour. In the end, LSU has to sell the program. It could come down to Jeremy Hill and Collins returning.
The running game punch of Hill, Fournette, Magee, Hilliard, will take heat off the passing game, allowing those receivers to get open more and make plays. Of course we won't pass as much, but when you don't HAVE to throw, you get more one on one coverage, and for guys like Dupre, it will be like a kid in a candy factory.
With an entire offseason to study Jameis' tendencies, DC's will begin to find every little thing to drive him crazy. The sophomore jinx isn't a jinx, it's a response. AJ/BH/HR...no real film yet.
In the end, MD may well just decide he wants to go to FSU - but it's not like LSU didn't give it its best shot.
As for Hunter Dale, he is a very straight up kid, and Florida has been on him big time the whole way. Not sure how much work LSU has put in. There's still time, esp if Muschamp is no longer there. But there are other schools who would love to have him not named UF or LSU....we have to do work...
