Joe McKnight, Landon Collins, Greg Robinson, Travon Reed, Eddie Lacy, others.

Some of these loses were horrific for LSU fans, but none of these went on to super stardom. Lacy was probably the most successful and looks like the real deal in the NFL.

What say you?

The few times I've watched Bama this year, Collins has been a beast.

Robinson and Collins were way bigger losses than the others you posted. We've been pretty good at RB and WR. LT and Safety have been glaring weaknesses the past two years.

No one mentions Leroy Hoard in these threads. Dude was damn good in college and solid pro.

Recent I would say probably McKnight but then again we had pretty good running backs so he wasn't that big of a loss.

Billy Cannon Jr. can't leave him off the list. solid LB for the Aggies, and drafted by Dallas. He was injured at Dallas (i believe spinal injury) and had to give up football.
ETA: Bucky Richardson QB. Bucky and Billy both went to Broadmoor.
