Big surprise! The only cure for this disease is an LSU Naty! We need a few in a row and see how the "tide turns"....

that's composite. They're talking about the 247 rankings, which has Quinn at 128 and Sims at 99

Thats my issue. I want to get my dad a subscription to one of these sites, cause I know he'd like it (he checks here daily), but which one? They all cater to whichever fan base pays the most. In the 90s it was ND and now its several teams. I actually thought 247 might be different, but they seem to have sold out even faster that the other sites

I see and trend on 247. You sign with Alabama and you get a bump in rankings. Possible LSU commit. Time for a drop.

for lsu info, it's 247.

just tell your dad the rankings are sometimes biased but the site is good for lsu info.

none of the sites are perfect.

Don't base your decision off if national rankings. You're paying for LSU coverage.. Why should you care what some slapdick down the hall from Sabans office ranks Trey Quinn

He should have never been number 1.

This. Sims ahead of Quinn doesn't make any sense, but the national rankings aren't a big deal. The staff knows Quinn is the better WR for LSU. No big deal.

Before it got deleted, I saw a JC apostle reply using the logic that the ratings/rankings don't matter at all. Doesn't that completely defy the idea of subscribing to a recruiting service website at all? That's like me filling up at $3 a gallon and then telling the guy at the next pump that I don't believe in cars.

No, that's like you refusing to pay for gas at a gas station that has policies you don't agree with. The gas is still good, but you just don't agree with the big heads that run it. At the end of the day, you get what you really pay for.

Sorry, I didn't specify that the guy's reply was on the 247 board (ie, he's a paying subscriber).

I also thought it was interesting that when it was interjected that Sonny and Shea both lobbied for Quinn to have a higher ranking, JC replied that if he always took their opinion it would be biased and inaccurate.

I know it's wouldn't be easy (in terms of time, effort or finance) for those two to start an independent site, but it would be the most ideal option for LSU fans.
