WEST MONROE, La.- Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has apparently been yanked off the popular TV show after comments he made that were anti-gay.
The network told Entertainment Weekly Robertson is off the hit show for the time being.
EW posted on its website the full statement from the network, which read: "We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson's comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."
The rest of his family will continue on the reality series, EW reported late Wednesday.
The change comes after Robertson said in an interview with the lifestyle magazine that being gay was a sin and compared same-sex relationships with bestiality.
The TV show follows the cast of characters in north Louisiana who make a living building duck calls. Wednesday evening, Robertson was still listed as a cast member on the show's website
With this recent news.. Who thinks the family will pull out and end the series or possibly move to a new network?

I'm sure A&E is just gonna cancel their most popular show and biggest cash cow.

Probably move to a new network. Good for him to stand up for what he believes right or wrong

Kinda interested to see what happens.
DD is A&E's cash cow for now.

A couple episodes without Phil won't kill the show.

This is what happens when you make a man like Phil sing Christmas carols. He pulls the plug.
Do some googling, some of his grandkids were struggling, he pulled the plug in this. He's not an idiot, he knew what he was doing.

What do you mean about the grandkids?

They will move to another network and laugh at A&E.

CMT would pick it up in a heartbeat

To Lst,
Google it. Jase's kid considered offing himself because of the fame and his inability to deal with it.

It's the beginning of the end on A&E. Sponsors will start to pull out if no other story happens soon to divert attention.
However they can fallback on the Country Music channel which picked up Dog the Bounty Hunter, who's ratings weren't nearly as good.

He also said:
"Everything is blurred in what's right and wrong," he complained. "Sin becomes fine." The Louisiana-based entrepreneur clarified: "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men."
And I guess he would know, being a self-admitted philanderer. Seems he needs to re-read his bible, especially John 8:7!

I saw you jaywalking the other day.
Law breakers like you, drunk drivers that kill families, and child rapists should all be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Yeah I guess listing the two in the same paragraph is comparing the two nowadays. Phil Robertson stands up for what he believes in and I respect that

God forbid a man be entitled to his opinion. The Left is so tolerant of anyone that disagrees with their views.
