just effing stop.

Do you not remember AU dropping two easy TD's in that game. Your team got beat at the line of scrimmage.

Tubberville's 6 game streak is in play.

Sending Saban out like Lloyd Carr will make him a king at Auburn.

Easy choice to stay.

Dude, you are such a homer with no common sense. You could state all those exact reasons for Saban going to Texas.

But...but...but...Tuscaloosa is paradise on Earth. No one would ever want to leave there.

If the jobs at UA and AU were ever both open at the same time, every coach in America would take the UA job before taking the AU job.

Depends on the timing. Before Saban got to Alabama, Auburn was considered a much better job than Alabama.

Texas is still considered a better job than both, but if they fell off like Alabama did for while, that may no longer be true.

Gus is the "it" thing right now....but that doesn't make him good enough to be the HC at Texas....those boosters ain't gonna bring in some guy who was coaching HS in Arkansas just a few years ago to run the most profitable team in college sports...

Well, since he has been an OC on a BSC title team, and has his team in the BSC Title game in his first year as an HC some might conider this grounds for consideration.

Just one, watching what has been going on there with Mack. Would you want to be HC at that disaster?

Not saying Auburn is a bad job at all, but just can't think of any advantages that they have over Texas

Scab wrote an article just for you.

LINK

Au has outrecruited Texas the last 4 classes even with Saban in the state. AU has more conf titles than Texas does in a harder conference the last decade.

Anything Gus can accomplish at Texas, he can accomplish at AU.

Gus would never get away with a third of his recruiting class being JUCOs at Texas. And I think once Gus gets settled in he'll recruit even more JUCOs

No doubt. Even Mack Brown starting recruiting a couple jucos towards the end. Chizik completely abandoned JUCO recruiting his last year (an obvious mistake).

Expectations are much lower at Auburn. Win 8-9 games, and beat Bama at least half the time, job security for life.

Tuberville averaged 8.5 wins over 10 years, went 7-3 against bama, and still got canned. But by all means, keep spewing that company line bullshite that has been drilled into your updyke head.
