re: LSU's Endowment Is Very Low

In 2010/2011 LSU dropped the Alumni program where you could send your kids to LSU for in state tuition. My first child was LSU bound with that an an additional academic scholly. After they dropped the alumni program and me traveling to B.R. to discuss with no luck, we bailed on LSwho with my fourth generation attendee. Scores of family have attended LSU and my family is and has been landowners in LA since 1897. LSU is now 70+% in state. Damn Bammers are now over 50% out of state and their endowment is great. My mother, LSU graduate quit donating and changed her will. I send back the many requests I get with a note. "Don't Bother" , I am done too. Bama unfortunately is building a national brand and will have support nationwide for decades to come. Sadly, LSU will continue to suffer when die hards like me pull the plug on their alma mater. Small minded people running the program when you don't want straight A, 30 ACT, legacy kids at your school. I now have 3 going to a rival out of state SEC school with scholly and waived out of state tuition.
