I applaud the optimism, but surely you realize that there would be no meltdown if Les left for Texas. There would probably be celebrations; most of our fanbase hates him.

Well, Texas does have more money than God & who wouldn't want to live in Austin over a shithole like BR?

You must not understand a good portion of LSU's fan base. That would excite a number of people.

Time will tell. We know that Coach Miles is very highly thought of in the college coaching community. Most college football fans across the nation think highly of Coach Miles.

We'll see whether Texas goes after him. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Les won't go. He will, however, get a big fat raise out of this after going 9-3.

Really? Miles is widely viewed as an idiot in the college football world. He talks funny, eats grass and doesn't know how to work a game clock. Why do you think that despite the success, he's never talked about among the games best coaches. Despite the success, in 9 years, his name has only been seriously linked to the Michigan job. Nobody wants him.

So, if you win the SEC one year, you are in decline if you miss out on it by 1 game the next?

That makes complete sense.

you remind me of that guy in the commercial who wrecks his car because of a bee, and his wife and the insurance agent laugh at him because of his gaping vagina...

Why type out a response when I can just copy and paste this one?

If Les decides to go, then he can go. If he stays, then recruit and stay. That about sums it up.

Absolutely. Who the hell would wanna live in shitty Baton Rouge over Austin? LSU can't compete with Texas money, and I'm sure Les is sick of all those crazy corndog fans
