Evidently Saban has realized the Magic that is Alabama Football and...

...the University of Alabama is now in his blood. He didn't take the money like everyone expected and he chose to stay in Tuscaloosa. He finally has BAMA in his heart and he is one of us forever. He has surpassed Coach Bryant as the greatest coach to ever live and he will always have crimson and white in his heart. God bless you coach and welcome to the kingdom!

This sums up just how desperate bama fans are. They were in the cellar for so long that they were willing to take a mercenary like saban. They never cared that saban hated their culture or their unhinged love for a bear. He only gave lip service to their "traditions".
Even now after winning them championships they still don't feel that saban was part of their culture. Red and white through and through.
Bamascoop knows in his heart of heart that saban isn't part if bama. He sees it strictly as a job. He hates the redneck culture. His wife does too. They are Yankees.
While they were able to warm up to the lousisana culture they've never accepted the redneck ways. And that's why bama hates LSU now. Because they know saban still longs for lousisana. And that's why LSU fans hate saban - he's their high school sweetheart that they can never have again.
