Every school/coach has it's share of Furmans and Kent States on their schedules....they are on there for a reason.

The clowns around here could make the same comment about Alabama this season, Michigan for six years, USC for four seasons, Nebraska for eight seasons, Texas for four seasons, and Florida and Tennessee and.........

Every great program goes downhill. The key is how much and how long. You have to be a moron to see 10-3 when you play in the SEC as a significant downhill drop.

"If"

If LSU goes undefeated for the next 10 seasons, Miles will have the super-duper greatest win percentage ever, along with 10 straight NC's.

See how stupid "if" is?

I agree, Miles is a good coach, and even a better recruiter than he is a coach. I know that, overall, his winning percentage is the best LSU has had......but.
My issue is, that with all that talent, why isn't the team better prepared and better motivated in games that we just pi-s away?
I think it all started in the BCS National Championship Game in N.O. when LSU just did not even show up for that game!!
Then, the following year with all that talent...
Then this year losing at least 2 games we should have won.
I personally think Miles is getting a little burned out-I think he is having fun coaching-I think his emphasis has shifted to having fun-but the "edge" is no longer there!
I am in no way suggesting that LSU should get rid of Les Miles.

Someone with 700 post in less that two months shouldn't worry about what others do with their time.

2005 against UT, leaves a TO on the board and lets the clock run out of the first half
This is a fact, not an opinion

Wrong. LSU took a TO with 3:22, 1:58 and :36 left in 2nd half. Jamarcus killed that drive by trying to run it in from the 14 and not just throwing the ball away.

quote:

2009 against UW. End of first half, UW is happy to run out the clock, Les calls TO's even though the best case scenario has us getting the ball inside the 20 with no TO's and about 15 seconds left. UW throws a long pass on 3rd and long, steals 3 points at the end of the half.
Fact. This is what actually happened, not an opinion or an interpretation.

Not actually what happened. LSU called last TO with :44 seconds left on 3&1 at UW 26. They converted and then went for 40+ on first down. So technically it's your interpretation. The reasoning for why LSU was calling TOs would be your opinion.

quote:

2010 Alabama, we get a fumble recovery with about 7 minutes left or so. Les had no intention of passing it because we ran three straight dives. But for some reason, JJ is snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the clock each time.
Once again, historical record, this happened. Not an opinion.

This scenario is nowhere near being historically correct. LSU had two possessions after Bama's fumble with 7:30 left. The first possession they ran 4 plays in 2 minutes resulting in Jasper's FG. That's a 30 second a play average. How much should've they'd burned. On LSU's second possession, they got the ball with 3:23 seconds left. They ran 6 plays and burned 3:05 resulting in a punt. This drive included Bama calling two TOs and a LSU delay of game prior to their punt. Bama gets the ball back with :18. It would've been impossible to use 2:00 in 4 plays and 3:00 in 6 snapping the ball with :20 seconds left.

You did get 2013 Ole Miss game correct however, it's your opinion of it's impact on the outcome.

Facts are not interpretations of events.

This. Winning 10 games, in the hardest division ,in the hardest conference isn't a shitty season.
Also , our fans love too boast about how the sec is the best conference and how any team ( even the bad ones) have talent and can beat you , but then get pissed when when it happens and they say lsu should never lose to a less talented team.
NEWSFLASH: The best coach in all of cfb( Saban) with the best talent( #1 in recruiting ) loses to a less talented team , EVERY YEAR

Sidewalk negatiger can't come up with an informed opinion of his own, so the first thing that comes to mind after calling people "chief" (so witty) is the idea of LSU fans having sexual relations with LSU's head coach.

You lose this thread. Go away.

just like clockwork! 06 have u ever been right in you're entire retarded existence???? This thread, according to the OP, is about CLM and his glorious winning percentage. Look! It even says it in the title! The fact that it has dissolved into a Les bashing thread isn't my fault.

If u and your cronies would quit gang tackling anyone who says something even remotely bad about Miles, not only in this thread, but EVERY thread, the anti-Miles sentiment might subside.

I get it though, having the last word always makes you right.

please please lets have some compassion here.

redtiger has found a place to shite. understand that some posters are sitting in dirty diapers waiting for the home health care nurse to come and clean them. while red tiger is waiting, he can share his uncomfortable feelings and shite on lsu and lsu's coaches and lsu's fans.

haters gotta hate. and hating is learned behavior. redtiger was taught how to treat his parents, and how to treat others, and how to treat himself.

the negative shite redtiger shits is what is in his heart.

have compassion!
